Do we cater for vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes we are happy to accommodate but do require notice at time of booking.
Can I bring my own wine?
Yes you can. We have a $100 corkage fee per bottle opened.
Are your meats halal?
Yes we can cater for halal with advanced notice upon booking
Can I still eat at The French Café ?
Yes of course, our dining room has relocated to the other side of the courtyard but is very
much still in operation. The French Café is open Thursday to Saturday for dinner and lunch
on Saturdays. The Gaggenau Tuesday Test Kitchen sees the restaurant open on the first

What kind of dining experience can I expect at Anise?
Anise is a relaxed smart dinning destination –we aim to deliver a fun dining experience from
a passionate and knowledgeable team alongside delicious pan Asian cuisine designed for
sharing.
What is the dress code?
There isn’t a dress code but we just ask you to come dressed appropriately for dinner/lunch.
Do you take large groups?
Yes, we can take groups of up to 12 in The Cellar. Also, large groups can book with exclusive use of our front or back room in Anise, we also have The French Café which can seat up to 36 guests.

Do you have a private dining room?
We have a private dining wine cellar which accommodates 6 to 12 guests. This has a
minimum spend of $1,500 + 5% gratuity and can be booked online.

Do you offer outdoor or al fresco dining?
Yes, we have some tables set up in our undercover outdoor area in our gorgeous courtyard.
We can also accommodate dining undercover in the courtyard if requested in advance and
of course this is weather dependant.

We welcome children but do not have a children’s menu or seating (we have limited highchairs so please let us know when booking if you require one)
Do you cater for dietary requirements? Including FODMAP and Gluten Free?
Yes with notice we can cater for all dietary requirements.

Can I use my French Café voucher for Anise?
Yes. Your French Café vouchers are valid at both The French Café and Anise

No, however off-street parking is available across the street from Anise and The French
Café
The Auckland Council carpark is located 100 metres from our precinct on the
intersection of Symonds Street and Mt. Eden Road
How long do I have my table for?
Each booking is allocated a 2 hour timeslot as the table is likely to be booked out again
Do I need to pay a deposit to book my table?
No, we believe in trust. You will be sent a booking reminder 24 hours before your booking giving you the opportunity to cancel, move or confirm your booking
Is there a cancellation fee?
No, as we are a casual dining experience we do not require a pre-authorisation and therefore we will not charge you for cancelling. We just ask that you kindly let us know prior to your booking time
What are your hours?
Tuesday – Saturday 5:30pm – Late
Saturday Lunch 12pm-2pm
Do you allow walk ins?
Walk ins are welcome subject to availability but we do recommend booking in advance to
avoid disappointment and to ensure all dietary requirements can be catered to.
